We’re Blacklisted, a Lincolnshire-based DJ and production duo with a sound built around fast, high-energy trance and tech.
Our sets tend to sit firmly at the tougher end of the spectrum, mixing upfront trance, tech trance and harder-edged material with plenty of drive, while still drawing on the classic sounds that got us into the music in the first place. That same approach carries through into our productions, where energy and atmosphere matter just as much as making something that works on a dancefloor.
Alongside our own releases and remixes, we’ve become closely associated with Captivated, where we’re part of the resident line-up and one of the acts helping shape the sound of the brand.
Our music has also appeared on labels including Rated Records and Yanada Recordings, with tracks and remixes picking up support within the wider UK trance scene.
Whether we’re playing together behind the decks or working in the studio, the Blacklisted sound is all about pace, emotion and proper peak-time energy without losing the musical side of trance.
