Reminiscence presents The Space Brothers – Strictly Vinyl – Strictly Trance
Reminiscence returns to KUDOS in Norwich on Friday 20th November 2026 for its final event of the year, presenting a night dedicated entirely to trance on vinyl and headlined by one of the most influential names in UK trance history: The Space Brothers.
Strictly Vinyl – Strictly Trance brings together six hours of classic, progressive and uplifting trance, played the way so much of this music was originally heard – from records, on turntables.
Heading the lineup are The Space Brothers, joined by Arctic Barbers, George Pennell, Matheus and Reminiscence resident Asysis.
The Space Brothers – 90 Minute Vinyl Set
Ricky Simmonds and Stephen Jones, better known as The Space Brothers, have been responsible for some of the defining records of the British trance movement.
Their influence stretches far beyond The Space Brothers name. Across aliases and projects including Lustral, Chakra, Ascension and Oxygen, Simmonds and Jones built an extraordinary catalogue of trance music during the genre's formative years.
As The Space Brothers, tracks including Shine, Forgiven, Heaven Will Come and Legacy became synonymous with the late 1990s trance sound.
Elsewhere, productions including Lustral – Everytime, Chakra – Home, Chakra – Love Shines Through and Ascension – Someone became enduring trance classics, supported by DJs and heard on dancefloors around the world.
With numerous UK chart appearances and a catalogue spanning more than three decades, The Space Brothers remain an important part of British trance history.
For Reminiscence in Norwich, they'll be stepping back behind the turntables for a special 90-minute vinyl set, digging into the music and records that helped shape that history.
Arctic Barbers – 90 Minute Vinyl Set
Arctic Barbers bring another extended 90-minute vinyl set to Strictly Vinyl – Strictly Trance.
The Teesside trio represent a newer generation of UK trance producers and DJs, combining uplifting melodies with the tougher, driving sound at the heart of modern trance.
Their growing catalogue includes productions such as Quintessence and Dance So Hard, alongside collaborations with established trance artists including Adam Ellis and Darren Porter.
At Reminiscence they'll swap the studio for the turntables and bring their record collection to Norwich for a full 90 minutes of vinyl trance.
George Pennell
George Pennell is a familiar face across the UK's grassroots trance scene and a DJ with a genuine love for playing music on vinyl.
Known for sets spanning progressive, classic and uplifting trance, George brings the kind of record collection perfectly suited to a night celebrating the music and culture surrounding the format.
He joins Reminiscence at KUDOS with the record bag packed for another journey through trance on vinyl.
Matheus
Matheus returns to Reminiscence following his appearance at the brand's Strictly Vinyl event in 2025.
After making his Reminiscence debut behind the turntables, he's back for the 2026 edition to once again dig into the collection and play trance as it was played for generations of clubbers – straight from vinyl.
Asysis
Completing the lineup is Reminiscence resident Asysis.
A regular behind the decks for the brand and a DJ with a particular love for progressive and classic trance, Asysis has become a familiar part of Reminiscence events and returns to the turntables for the final party of 2026.
Strictly Vinyl. Strictly Trance.
This one is exactly what the name suggests.
Every DJ. Every set. Vinyl.
No USB sticks. No laptops. No sync buttons.
Just turntables, record bags and six hours celebrating trance music across progressive, classic and uplifting sounds.
From records that helped define the trance explosion of the late 1990s and early 2000s to the DJs and producers keeping that culture alive today, Reminiscence presents The Space Brothers – Strictly Vinyl – Strictly Trance is a celebration of the music, the format and the people who still love both.
